In the beginning, Winter Park Wedding Company was simply the Winter Park Wedding Chapel, a lovely little chapel built in 1943 that was carefully restored in 2009 to become one of the most desirable private wedding venues in Winter Park. After 5 successful years, the Chapel itself was picked up by the City and moved in order to save the building.
During the time the Chapel was being moved, however, owners Suzanne Graffham and Steven Graffham sought out alternate wedding venues nearby that invoked the same values and Winter Park style for inquiring couples. After some careful consideration, Suzanne soon began exploring a handful of venues and found the hidden gems of Winter Park. Now that the number of locations has grown, so has the company, turning the Winter Park Wedding Chapel into the Winter Park Wedding Company, which now offers six beautiful venues, full wedding coordination and photography packages through Winter Park Photography.
Now offering weddings in Europe
Suzanne has now taken the successful Winter Park Wedding Company model and expanded it to Salzburg Wedding Company in Austria so she can now offer the same simplicity in wedding planning with some fabulous wedding venues in Salzburg, Austria. This fairytale City is located on the edge of the Austrian Alps and in a great location to get to other parts of Europe easily.
Suzanne found the First Congregational Church, nestled less than a block from the Rose Garden and Park Avenue. The Church can accommodate up to 400 people! The newest member of the company is Winter Park’s latest jewel, The Alfond Inn. Built by Rollins College on the former site of the Winter Park’s Langford Hotel, The Alfond Inn drips with elegance, bright courtyards, white marble, dark wood, and wrought iron and is sure to become the new favorite spot for more intimate, luxury weddings. The Capen-Showalter House. Built in 1885, this historic house offers scenic lakeside ceremonies. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and winding paths, making it a romantic ceremony location.
