Last minute weddings. It is said that love has no bounds.  And sometimes this boundless love doesn’t always adhere to the bounds of time.   While majority of weddings are planned well in advance, last-minute weddings do happen and are gaining popularity.

There are many reasons why people have last minute weddings

 Last minute weddings are needed for a whole host of reasons.  Sometimes there are family considerations, work/travel reasons, or even weather-related issues.  Whatever the reason, there is always a way to make your most special day memorable and free of stress.   

What you need to think of

Before planning a last-minute wedding, make sure the venue you select can accommodate your accelerated needs.  Some venues are known for being booked out very far in advance with little to no wiggle room.  And others require a far enough in advance booking, even if they have sooner availability.        

Also, when selecting a venue, be sure to check the venues’ ability to change the wedding date and/or wedding details if needed.  Here in Florida, for example, we deal with some unpredictable weather during the active hurricane months.  If you would like an outdoor wedding, make sure the venue you select can move your wedding indoors should the weather take a turn for the worse.
