LOVE STORY – KAMAU AND EVELYN

On August 2nd, we had the honor of hosting Evelyn and Kamau’s wedding at the Winter Park Wedding Chapel —a truly beautiful celebration of love, unity, and family. This special day wasn’t just about two people coming together; it was about blending two families into one.

Between them, Evelyn and Kamau share seven wonderful children — Legend, Echo, Khafari, Kai, Nayah, Mario, and Mylin — and each one played a meaningful part in the ceremony. The highlight was a touching sand ceremony, where every family member poured sand in a beautiful wooden frame with the words “together we make a family” symbolizing their connection and everlasting bond.

Evelyn and Kamau first met on Match.com in December 2022, proving that true love can appear when you least expect it. From their very first messages, they shared a spark built on kindness, laughter, and shared values.

Kamau’s proposal was nothing short of cinematic — a breathtaking moment on a cliff in Guatemala, overlooking incredible views. It perfectly captured his romantic nature and deep devotion to Evelyn.

Together, Evelyn and Kamau love traveling, doing puzzles, and most importantly, blending their families through love, patience, and shared adventures. For their honeymoon, they’re embarking on an unforgettable cruise around Japan.  The perfect way to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.

Their wedding day at the Winter Park Wedding Chapel reflected everything that makes their relationship so special — joy, unity, and the power of family love. It was an honor to be part of their story.
