A Decade of Love and Adventure: Tracy and John’s Vow Renewal

We had the honor of hosting Tracy and John as they celebrated ten beautiful years of marriage with a heartfelt vow renewal at the Winter Park Wedding Chapel. Together for 13 years, Tracy and John have always shared a deep connection and a love for life’s unique moments. Their story began at a local historic neighborhood organization event, and their spark was immediate. They found themselves side-by-side at a rally, where they discovered a shared passion for community and connection and their love for old houses.

Their journey took an unexpected but serendipitous turn with a humorous accident involving a mattress—a moment that prompted John to propose just two days later. In true whirlwind fashion, they exchanged vows at a courthouse in Juliette, Illinois, within the week. Yet even in those early days, their love for creating meaningful memories shone through, as just six months later, they renewed their vows in Hawaii.

Over the years, vow renewals became a cherished tradition. Paris and Las Vegas each offered a different backdrop to celebrate their commitment, and this year, they chose Florida as a fresh setting to rekindle their vows. Tracy and John’s love is marked by a shared dedication to each other and their home; together, they enjoy every project, from interior design to home improvement.

Tracy and John’s vow renewal celebration in the Chapel was truly a family affair, filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. They chose to rent a beautiful house in Kissimmee for the entire group of 18,  of their closest family and friends, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere for this special occasion. Tracy and John’s grandson, AJ, took on the charming role of ring bearer, while five-year-old Lilly stole hearts as the flower girl. Adding a personal touch to the ceremony, Tracy’s goddaughter, Isabella, sang “When You Say Nothing at All” as Tracy walked down the aisle, making the processional even more meaningful.

After the ceremony, Tracy and John hosted a cozy reception at Blu on the Ave, where they toasted their love with champagne, celebrated with cake, and indulged in Rockefeller oysters. The entire celebration, down to the finest detail, was booked through Winter Park Wedding Company, and we extend our gratitude to our exceptional team of professionals for making this day so special.  With careful planning, we ensured every detail was handled by our top professionals.
